I tried something new in the shop recently. Inspired by a friend with an idea, I tried to do a detailed western-motif inlay of a rider roping a calf. The idea was new and would have been a radical change and new direction for me. Unfortunately, my execution was less than spectacular. What I actually ended up with was more fodder for the wood stove.
